A function, “The role of youths in inter-cultural dialog”, was held on July 16, 2009, at the Azerbaijan Diplomacy Academy (ADA) at the initiative of the Konullu and "IRELI" organizations. The event brought together youths from 42 countries in the Azerbaijani capital. The ADA rector, Hafiz Pashayev, briefed the guests about the academy. According to him, 25 local students are currently studying at the educational institution as an experiment. Pashayev emphasized that the ADA faculty includes teachers from Italy, Germany, Kenya and other countries. He added that ADA’s goal is to provide the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government agencies dealing with international issues with qualified staff. The ADA rector said the academy’s infrastructure will be ready by 2011.
In conclusion, the guests expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome.
The foreign youths attended various functions in Baku until July 18.
