European youth from 15 countries visited “IRELI” Public Union

As you know, European Commision’s “Youth in Action” programm is one of the projects supporting the non-formal education for young people, proposing the active participation of youth in European creative work between ages 13-30. “Youth in Action” programm is the official youth programm of European Union which covers the years 2007-2013.
On October 19-25 with the joint organising of Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Republic and European Commission’s “Salto-Youth” Recource Center” on Eastern Europe is launching the acquintance visit on “The reality of Azerbaijani youth work”.
The representatives of National agencies of “Youth in Action” programm of 15 members of European Council including France, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, Poland and Turkey and at the same time the representatives of active youth organisations with participation in the meetings both in capital and in the regions with active young people are planned in the framework of the project.
It should be mentioned that in the framework of the visit the guests visited the central headquarters of “IRELI” Public Union and met with the active members of the union. Different projects and activities among youth were discussed during the meeting.
The agreement about ongoing cooperation was achieved between “IRELI” Public Union and “Salto-Youth” Recource Center” as the result of the meeting.
