The meeting between “IRELI” Public Union and the representatives of United Nations Development Program (UNDP) was held on October 22nd, 2009.
UNDP’s Deputy Resident Representative Noura Hamladji and UNDP’s program department representatives, Chairman of “IRELI” Public Union Ceyhun Osmanli, Secretary for Projects and Programs Ayxan Mustafayev and Board members of “IRELI” Public Union were attending the meeting.
At first, the chairman of “IRELI” Public Union Ceyhun Osmanli greeted the guests and gave a detailed information about “IRELI” Public Union’s activities. Later, Secretary for Projects and Programms Ayxan Mustafayev made a presentation about the implemented and priority projects of “IRELI” Public Union.
UNDP’s Cluster Team Leader Verena Linneweber made a presentation about the UNDP’s activities.
The role of youth in contributing to the achievement of Millennium Development Goals was mentioned during the meeting.
The sides discussed the potential opportunities of further collaboration between “IRELI” Public Union and UNDP.
