As you know, “IRELI” Public Union started the “Media Academy” project. Academy is functioning in a profession course format which is tutoring alternative journalism. Within the project youth are getting chance to realize their own projects in Academy’s “iRadio”, “IRELI Production”, to practice their skills in most popular news agencies, newspapers, radio and TV studios, to learn all secrets of journalism from the well-known professionals of this sector. The goal of the course is to create educated, modern and professional young journalists and assist them in getting recruited into national media sector.
Currently there are 35 participants in the project.
Next trainer of Academy was the chief-editor of “525th newspaper” Rashad Macid. Guest spoke about establishment, functions, structure and work principles of the newspaper and gave information about the preparation and writing of the articles. . Moreover he shared some stories from his own experience which can be helpful in the future careers of young journalists.
It should be mentioned that partners of the project are “1News” Information Agency, “Day.az” Information Agency, “APA” Information Agency, “Trend” Information Agency, “News.az” Information Agency.
